WatchPat® One is an aid to diagnose sleep apnea including obstructive and central sleep apnea. WatchPAT's validated sleep staging, which detected wake, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM, provides information on sleep architecture. Ot also provides the added value of detecting REM related sleep apnea with REM and non-REM AHI.
The WatchPat® One offers the flexibility to conduct an accurate and simple at home sleep study. The three point sensors enable diagnostics to be obtained while you sleep in the comfort of your own home. Equipment includes: a watch-like apparatus, finger probe and chest monitor. A cell phone with ability to download app for the data analysis is required. No return shipment, no cleaning, no infection risk.
The WatchPat® One device encompasses total sleep time, sleep architecture, central sleep apnea and accurate auto scoring. The WatchPAT calculates AHI and RDI using the patient's Total Sleep Time rather than the recorded time used in move commercially available HSAT's. Total sleep time reduces the risk of underdiagnosis and misclassification that has been reported up to 20% with using total recording time.
